Software Engineer – Pharma Production Systems

Take the next step in your career at a company that puts flexibility first (93,5 % of our colleagues are happy with their work-life balance). You’ll get your hands on a wide range of technologies and leave your mark on our suite of software solutions that make pharmaceutical manufacturing more efficient.

We are currently looking for a C#/.Net software developer for our IoT group. Maybe that’s you?

You will be based in our office in Aarhus.

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Designing technical solutions across our product portfolio and project deliveries. This includes architecture, integration, and configuration of systems such as IoT platforms and data solutions in close collaboration with inspection/automation systems. You will work closely with our customers to shape solutions that meet both technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving solution architecture and software design. You will define system architecture, select appropriate technologies, and ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure implementations across both product development and customer projects.
  • Taking ownership of technical solutions from design to implementation and customer deployment.
  • Contributing to product development and continuous improvement. Based on your experiences from projects, you will help evolve our core platforms and architecture, ensuring long-term robustness, compliance, and reusability across customers.

We will shape the specific role together based on your interests and competences. Since we work primarily with data collection and processing close to the production line, you will get hands-on experience with a broad range of technologies – from low-level communication protocols that need to run fast and reliably to robust backend solutions, integrations, and user-facing applications.

About you

We imagine that you

  • have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering (electronics, low voltage, software, mechanics, etc.), or Software Engineering
  • use some of the technologies (or similar) that we work with daily: C#/.NET, .NET Core, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Azure Cloud, and web technologies such as ASP.NET, Blazor, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular
  • actively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity and quality
  • speak and write English at a professional level

In addition, you

  • have experience with agile working methods such as Scrum
  • have good communication skills and are a strong team player
  • combine business acumen with a secure sense of how best to create value in your work
  • enjoy having direct customer relations and running your own customer projects

We encourage anyone qualified to apply for the position regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnicity.

Adapt your schedule to fit your life

You are the expert on what makes you happy and efficient. Whether that means a 4-day work week, working in the evening or from home, or showing up at the office every day is up to you.
